THE PROGRAM
ACEC-NH has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees of member firms who plan to continue their education in a geology, engineering or land surveying program. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at a four-year college or graduate school of the student’s choice.

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants to the ACEC-NH Scholarship Program must be:

  • Children of employees of ACEC-NH’s member firms or be sponsored by a member firm where you have interned in the past 12 months.
  • Residents of New Hampshire
  • High school seniors or high school graduates who plan to enroll or students who are currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate course of study by Fall of 2023, and
  • Students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an accredited geology, engineering or land surveying program.

AWARDS
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,500 award. Up to three (3) awards will be granted each year. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study.

    • List all school activities in which you have participated during the past four years (e.g., student government, music, sports, etc.). List all community activities in which you have participated without pay during the past for years (e.g., Boys/Girl Scouts, hospital volunteer, Special Olympics). Note all special awards, honors and offices held. Indicate whether these were high school or college activities.

    • Make a brief statement or summary of your plans as they relate to your educational and career objectives and long-term goals.

    • Please describe how and when any unusual family or personal circumstances have affected your achievement in school, work experience, or your participation in school and community activities.

    • This section is to be completed by a high school or college counselor or advisor, an instructor, or a work supervisor that knows you well.
