ACEC-NH committees promote the interests of our profession, the business of consulting engineering, and our member firms. Below is a description of each. We welcome your involvement on one of our committees.  In fact, active participation in ACEC-NH’s coalitions and committees will dramatically increase the return on your dues investment in ACEC-NH. ACEC-NH Board of Directors

ACEC-NH has a very strong group of volunteer leaders who provide invaluable support and strategic thinking and direction for our organization. They set policy for the organization and manage the association’s affairs.

Emerging Leaders Committee

Our ELC is designed to cultivate future leaders in the engineering industry. The committee produces programs that allow emerging leaders an opportunity to interact with each other. It also provides forums where participants can meet and learn from top industry leaders and suggests programming for ACEC-NH meetings.

Engineering Excellence Awards Committee

The EEA Committee plans, coordinates, and administers the annual EEA and the judging process.

Government Affairs Committee

This committee provides advocacy direction and guidance for the development of the governmental affairs programs of the Council.

Membership Committee

Our Membership Committee recruits new members into ACEC-NH, reviews membership services and develops new services for our members.

NHDES Consultants Quality Initiative Committee (CQI)

Created in 2002, this committee brings consultants and regulators together on a regular basis to discuss issues of mutual concern. The format is generally informal, and the group reviews a different topic each month. Legislative issues that are of interest to DES and ACEC-NH are often discussed at this meeting.

NHDOT Consultants Quality Initiative Committee (CQI)

Since 1990, NHDOT CQI fosters communication between the consulting community and NHDOT. There are currently 5 ACEC-NH members on this committee, with term limits to ensure all member firms can participate. NHDOT CQI has several subcommittees including the NHDOT/ACEC-NH Technical Transfer Conference, Contracts, Bridge and Highway review.

Our Programs and Events Committee develops seminars and workshops for business and educational programs.

Public Relations Committee

This committee is working to enhance the public perception and image of consulting engineers with implementation of several initiatives, including: website development, New Hampshire media relations, and expanding our community partnerships.

Education & Outreach Committee

We work to forge connections between member firms and educational institutions in New Hampshire to support academic and career programs, inspire future engineers, engage our people, and promote the image and business of engineering.
