Veto of Ten-Year Transportation Improvement Plan Overturned!
On Wednesday afternoon, the New Hampshire Legislature successfully voted to override the veto of House Bill 2026, the State’s Ten-Year Transportation Improvement Plan for 2027-2036. The House both overwhelmingly exceeded the Constitutionally required two-thirds vote to override the veto: The House voted 292-25 to override, while the Senate subsequently voted unanimously to override the veto. The bill will now become law on January 1st.
